She was born on 26th May 1966 in London, England.
She is 5’3″ tall.
Her father is Raymond Bonham-Carter, a merchant banker. Raymond was left paralyzed after brain surgery that went wrong.
Her mother is Elena Bonham-Carter, a psychotherapist. Elena is paid to read her daughters scripts and analyze the characters involved.
She has two brothers; Edward and Thomas.
She is the first cousin to the Baroness Jane Bonham-Carter, and a distant cousin to actor, Crispin Bonham-Carter.She is a distant cousin to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
She was married (or is married…not sure) to director, Tim Burton. Together they have two children; Billy Ray and Nell.
Her first screen role was as Netty Bellinger in A Pattern of Roses (1983).
Her first stage role was in The Tempest at the Oxford Playhouse.
